Yes, Weekend!

     Words cannot even begin to express how thankful I am that it is finally the WEEKEND! After 2 test, a quiz, and several lesson plans, I am welcoming this weekend with arms wide open. It also helps knowing that I am one week closer to being home for easter break. I'll be headed to Oxford at exactly 5:00 to be reunited with my bestie, Mere! (Evans has some law school something tomorrow so we decided to make a quick one night trip out of it) If you know me, you know I'm always......and I mean ALWAYS up for a get away to Oxford. Oh, and p.s. I'm not skipping class tomorrow- I just don't have friday classes :)

     Also, this weekend is Derby Days..YAY can't wait to see everyone's awesome dances! There is nothing I enjoy more than a beautiful spring weekend, and judging by this weekend's forecast-this one isn't going to be too shabby. Anyways, hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Oh, and only 4 more weeks of class---if that isn't something to brighten your day, then I don't know what is!

     This past weekend has been wonderful, to say the least. I accompanied Evans to his last SAE date party....ever : (.....Paddy Murphy. The band was SO much funnn! They played my favorite song upon request (Jerimiah was a Bullfrog......) LOVED it! Thanks, Evans, for taking me to more date parties than I could ever imagine! (Cheesyyyy..sorry sorry sorry-had to!) 

     Anyways......One thing is for sure, Monday has been no fun at all. For me, this week is full of tests and projects, and at this point in the semester-I am so over school, and I am certainly not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Honestly, the only things keeping me going are the fun Spring weekends that are lined up between now and exams. Tooooooo......Many.........Projects.

     Ok, so I'm really weird and absolutely LOVE quotes. I'm not quite sure why, but the right quote always seems to brighten my day, or simply just adds a little bit of encouragement when it is needed the most. I'm one of those people who literally googles "good quotes." Oh, and pinterest is always full of fabulous sayings as well.  Strangeeee, I know I know.      WHOAHHHH.....I don't even know where to begin. Basically, I have neglected the blog due to the fact that I have not been in touch with reality this past week. Spring break got the best of me, and after starting off feeling under the weather, I am back to feeling not so great again....great, just great. Anywayssss, this past week has been absolutely positively one of the most fun weeks of my life (or atleast wayyyy on up there). I am so fortunate that I got to spend my spring break with a fabulous bunch of friends in Orange Beach, AL.......I'm pretty sure my stomach muscles are still sore from the amount of laughing I did. Even though the weather was not perfect the entire time, I still soaked up plenty of sun and enjoyed every moment. I'm sad to say that SB12 has come to an end, and I've got to some how figure out how to jump back into reality......fast. I guess I'll begin with unpacking and reorganizing. Oh wait, did I mention that I left all of my bedding at home (my sweet mom washed everything for me) ANDDD our air conditioner is out at the apt? Great, just great. Looks like this is going to be a rough final 6 school weeks. Keep your fingers crossed that I survive......now here are several snap shots from the best week evaaa!

 Sooooo...... I know I've been MIA for about a week, but I've been super busy with school and living up one of the best weekends of my life. This past weekend was SAE formal in New Orleans, and let me just tell you.....there are no words to describe how much fun we had. It probably helps that I had the most wonderful date...3rd formal in a row together! (oops, sorryyyyy.....y'all know I had to stick a little something cheesy in there.) From strolling down Bourbon, to eating at all of the best restaurants and dancing the night away on Saturday........I must admit........ amazing is an understatement. Oh, and guess what? I even managed to squeeze in an hour of shopping (purchased some mint colored skinny jeans from Urban Outfitters.....one of my must haves for spring.)
   

     Getting back to reality last night was absolutely no fun at all due to the fact that I had a big time project facing me. Turns out I just put it off, went to sleep, and woke up at 5:45 this morning in a race to have it completed by 11:00......but hey, I did it! This girl has one test and a quiz separating her from.........you guessed it.....SPRING BREAK! I'll be on the beach in less than a week with some of my favorite people, and the last thing on my mind is school (don't lie you know you're the same way.) Hope everyone has a happy pre-spring break week!
